Just some of the photos I took on the last day of 2007.

 

Originally, I was planning to go out on nye, however, it was awfully hot, with the mercury hitting 42c degree, you really want to stay indoor with the aircon on.

 

Anyway, I felt since it was the last day of 2007, I should do something special and shouldn't just let the day slip away..

 

So I end up drove up to the nearest beach and shoot some random photos.

Dear All,

 

Happy new year! I went to this autosalon show back in Nov, I was determined to try something different, a variation of the theme.

 

I end up deciding to capture the dancer's hair movements (and their motion), I was so obsessed with taking photos, I pretty much fired shoots before the flash can barely recharged itself.

 

Half way thru the show, I realise something is not right, and to my surprise, the camera's flash was fried due to the extremely high temp (even the front diffuser plastic was partially melted by heat, with bubbles inside).

 

Anyway, the show must go on, I turned the camera's iso to max and shot in aperture priority mode. Actually it works alright, the stage's floodlight was strong enough with a occasional blur every now and then.

 

Well, guess I just have to learn the lesson the expensive way, maybe the next car show I will take photos intentionally without flash, it actually capture the atmosphere, the emotion, the excitement more accurately.
